Resort Food Manager - Yeti Bar

As the Resort Food Manager you will be responsible for the buffets in one of our Yetibars. Yeti serves breakfast, lunch packs and dinners daily to our costumers.
The food is of a high quality, though easy to prepare.

Main tasks:

- prepare food according to our standards and procedures
- plan the daily preparation, production and cleaning
- guaranty quality of food
- guaranty quality of buffets
- keep kitchen hygiene levels at an exceptional standard
- clean up the dishes
- control deliveries
- register stock
- execute HACCP program

What will we expect from you?:

We expect you to be very keen on hygiene and food quality. You must be a very organized person. You have a great passion for food and food preparation. You have a minimum of 20 years of age, you are a team player and you have a clean driver’s license. You have some experience in food industry and are willing to learn more.

You will work 6 days a week. In some busy weeks you will work more, in some quiet weeks you have more time off to board or ski. You can stand the pressure of deadlines and see your job as task based and not as hour based.

Yeti Bar Person

Calling experienced bar people, who want to keep up our reputation for being the 'Best Apres Ski Bar in Town'.

We're looking for hard working individuals who can show their dedication and flexibility to the Yeti bar product.

We have a HUGE range of clients visiting our bars throughout the season, from our various international tour operators. We specialize in providing great drinks deals alongside an unforgettable atmosphere, which keeps up our international reputation. With a large variety of groups, big and small, all requiring top notch service - tailored to their specific needs - we have a busy season ahead.

You will be expected to fulfill a weekly rota, with one day off per week. With a very competitive and flexible staff package available in all of our resorts, we ensure that your hard work is properly commended.

This position is only available to those who can work the whole season.

Those with experience in busy, commercial bars will be at an advantage.

Language skills are also an advantage, specifically for those who can speak; Dutch, French and or German.

We cannot specify availability in certain resorts. Positions are offered upon your individual role within a specific resort team.

Bar shifts incur long hours and require you to be motivated from start to finish to be able offer the best service possible, to everyone. They are hugely fun and you get to meet loads of great people, behind and over the bar. Conditions are hot, loud and often cramped and you will be on your feet for long periods of time after a day on the slopes...these positions are not for the faint hearted...You get out what you put in!

ETC - Event Coordinator

A small group of individuals will act as Event Coordinator’s for ETC’s 09/10 season. Coordinators’s will be present at all ETC events and consequently will be given more responsibility due to their increased involvement with ETC.

Due to the varied & exciting nature of our events, each successful applicant will fulfil a variety of different responsibilities, however some examples of those that will be held by coordinators are:

* Leadership of a small staff team
* Accountability in a particular aspect of the event (e.g. Entertainments, competitions, etc.)
* Delivering exceptional levels of customer service at all times

The personal competencies & characteristics we expect to see from applicants are:

* Significant and/or specific event experience (i.e. well-rounded members or experts in a particular field)
* An outgoing, yet approachable personality

ETC’s long standing partnership continues with BUSC, as the Championships return to Alpe D’Huez for two weeks of student shenanigans. The event runs over two weeks with the second week being when it all happens. This is a fantastic event to work as part of the ETC team as Alpe D’Huez provides a beautiful mix of sun & snow.
